Maxims voted us  “Hottest Sausagefest”

Located across the street from the legendary Usinger’s Famous Sausage, Brat House serves up
a juicy, all-pork sausage—plain or piled with onions, sauerkraut, and cheese—and your choice of
side for the righteous price of $7. Our rec? The baked beans made with ground sirloin and bacon.
Pair with: Dual nine-ounce mugs of ice-cold Schlitz. Then, for the love of God, eat a breath mint.

Key Milwaukee voted us Restaurant of the Month June 2010

The Milwaukee Brat House, 1013 N. Old World 3rd St., has tables on the sidewalk and opens its spacious front windows, but the real patio gem is at the rear of the two-year-old pub. Designed to blend the best of the New York City and Milwaukee pub scenes, the Brat House’s patio is tucked between historic brick buildings. It’s an urban retreat in every way.

OnMilwaukee’s Rapid review – Milwaukee Brat House

When it comes to simple, basic and no-frills bars, the Milwaukee Brat House may be as good as it gets. Located right in the heart of Old World 3rd Street, the Brat House is surprisingly large and roomy with a lot of bar-area real estate but also a number of tables and semi-secluded booths for groups of varying sizes. Additionally, the menu offers a wide selection of brats — late-night, too — and the grill produces typical bar fare of above-average quality.
